About Our Charity -The K4 Project

A Knit + Crochet Store with a Purpose

The K4 Project, short for Knitty Kitty Knotty Kat, is more than just a craft brand – it's a knit and crochet pattern store with a purpose. Our mission extends beyond creating fun and beautiful designs; it's about making a positive impact on the lives of animals in need. This is a new project and I am really exciting about making this work.

As you create Knitty Kitty Knotty Kat knit + crochet patterns, know that you're contributing to The K4 Project's commitment to animal welfare. A portion of the proceeds from every pattern purchase goes directly toward supporting animals to receive the care they deserve and helping them find forever homes.

The K4 Project is an opportunity to not only express your creativity through fun and engaging projects but also to be part of a compassionate community making a difference.

So, welcome to The K4 Project, where your passion for crafting meets a commitment to making a difference in the lives of animals. Join us in stitching together a world where creativity and compassion go hand in hand. Thank you for being a part of our journey! 🐾💕

Who We Work With

The K4 Project has partnered with local animal welfare organizations:

Humboldt Wildlife Care Center in Humboldt County, California. Their goal is wildlife rehabilitation -giving injured and orphaned wild animals a second chance, returning them to the wild after appropriate treatment. They rescue all wild animals from hummingbirds to sea animals.

Miranda's Rescue in Humboldt County, California. Their goal is to rescue abandoned, abused, and injured animals  to rehabilitate and re-home them. They offer programs to increase public awareness of animal overpopulation and provide solutions to end the killing of adoptable animals.

🙏 Thank You

I started The K4 Project to bring together creativity, slow living, and compassion -and you’ve helped me take the first real steps.

Together, we’re building a brand that creates beauty, connection, and real -world impact.

See you next quarter with our next donation report!

Warmly,
Lisa
