About Me

I Love to Knit + Crochet! ❤️🧶

Hi. My name is Lisa. I am the designer here at The K4 Project and I LOVE yarn! I have been knitting practically all my life but only since Covid did I start to crochet.

Anything with yarn gets me excited. When I watch a historic movie I see sweaters and appreciate the era patterns. When I am in public and I pass by someone wearing something knit or crochet, I am studying the pattern and admiring the stitches and designs, recreating the pattern with my interpretation in my mind. Some may call it an obsession. I just see it as a way of life and what makes me happy.

As a pattern designer and teacher, my teaching is not always by the book but it is what works for me. I am self-taught and I like to share my techniques with you. I combine my skills to create patterns with video tutorials that ease knitters and crocheters into advanced techniques, such as socks, sweaters, cables, and colorwork knitting.

Besides crafting, I enjoy spending time with my family and senior pets. I love to drink tea, run, surf, and snowboard. A good day is spent knitting or crocheting at the beach or next to a fireplace in snow country.

Knitting or crocheting may not be that excessive to you but if you are here then I know you must have some amount of appreciation for this craft.

As a crafter, you know the satisfying feeling of creating something with your own two hands. When the finished project is for yourself, the pride in wearing your handicraft is the best. When creating for someone else, you know all the love you put into every stitch.

So from one crafter to another, I welcome you to my store. Pull up a chair, pick a favorite movie, make a cup of tea, and let’s create. I hope it brings you joy.❤️🧶
