Row 1

Ch 42 (48, 54, 60, 66, 72, 84, 90), sl st last chain into first chain to form a circle, ch 1.

Row 2

Sc into first st (below ch 1), place marker (PM).
Sc into next 41 (47, 53, 59, 65, 71, 83, 89) sts.
Sl st into first st at marker, ch 1.

Row 3

Repeat Row 2.

Row 4

Ch 3, PM into 3rd ch.
Dc into next 41 (47, 53, 59, 65, 71, 83, 89) sts.
Sl st into chain at marker, ch 1.

Row 5

Sc in space between first and second tr from Row 4, PM.
Sc into next 41 (47, 53, 59, 65, 71, 83, 89) spaces.
Sl st into first st at marker, ch 1.

Row 6

Repeat Row 2.

Row 7

Sc, PM, skip 2 sts, shell stitch in next st, skip 2 sts
Repeat 7 (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) times.
Sl st into first st of round.

🎀 Trim Finish

With contrasting yarn:

  1. Single crochet around the base of the crown (Row 1), inserting sc into spaces between stitches.
  2. Single crochet around the crown points (Row 7), inserting sc into spaces between stitches.
  3. Weave in all ends and lightly block if desired.
